Dr. Bruce D. Murphy has been selected by The Australia/New Zealand Society for Reproductive Biology to give the prestigious 2021 President’s Lecture at the Virtual Meeting held from November 21-24. The talk was entitled “Orphan Receptors Regulate Ovaries and Rule Reproduction” and focuses on understanding how orphan nuclear receptors regulate reproductive function and how these receptors influence follicle recruitment and ovulation.
The Journal La Presse just published an article about the lastest research works of Dr. Serge McGraw related to their new publication entitled “Pre-implantation alcohol exposure induces lasting sex-specific DNA methylation programming errors in the developing forebrain“.
Dr. McGraw also gave an interview on 98.5FM with Patrick Lagacé.

Bruce D. Murphy, professor in the veterinary biomedicine Department at the Faculty of veterinary medicine at University of Montreal, and CRRF member, has been designated as Distinguished Fellow by the Society for the Study of Reproduction.
This recognition highlights, amoung other things, the innovative caracter of his research, which has contributed to increasing knowledge about reproduction, both in humans and animals, a crucial area for the species survival and often underestimated.
Congratulations for this well-deserved honnor!
